Color Therapy As mentioned in the previous blog – there are a ton of different ways that you can incorporate color therapy into your everyday life.  That is what we are going to talk about right here, how you can do it.  Firstly, you need to make sure that you get yourself some light boxes or even some lamps with color light bulbs in them.  These devices are fantastic devices to be used for color therapy.

Another thing you can do is use color bracelets.  Bracelets that are made out of semi-precious colored stones can really have a fantastic therapeutic effect for the fact that they are colored.  For example, if you get a red jasper bracelet or even a purple quartz bracelet, you will notice a different in your mood.

Finally, color light filters are great for your home and will truly make a difference in your mood when you are home!

AromatherapyNow that we have talked about just some of the things that aromatherapy can do for you and what it is exactly, it is now time to talk about aromatherapy and how you can use it.  One thing that you need to remember is that you truly need to differentiate between perfume and fragrance oils and the essential oils that are used for aromatherapy.  Remember, they are certainly not the same thing and you want to make sure that you are getting essential oils – not fragrance oils.

Aromatherapy can be used in many different ways, for example, you can use it in your massage, you can use it in candles, soap or even just let it burn in an aromatherapy burner so that way the scent fills your entire house.  There are tons of ways that you can use this fantastic therapy.

The great thing about aromatherapy is that it has absolutely no side effects – at all.  It is all natural and you will surely gain a lot of benefits from it!

Aromatherapy: How It All Works!

AromatherapyAromatherapy is something that has been becoming increasingly popular these days.  While most people get the essence of aromatherapy, what do you think that it is?  Most people just think that it is smelling a bunch of things to calm you down from a stressful day at work, but the truth of the matter is that it is so much more than that.  While you are going to be relying mainly on your sense of smell, it is not just about that.

Simply put, aromatherapy is actually a treatment or prevention of disease by the use of HOS – Human Olfactory Sense.  Now, there is something different about just smelling for instance a candle that smells like lavender and actually smelling something that was meant for aromatherapy use that smells like lavender.  Essential oils are the oils that are most of the time used for aromatherapy and the reason for that is because these oils are certainly the best and purest oils.

Essential oils are actually the essence of the plant – they are very, very concentrated oils and scents and actually need to be diluted by another oil such as grape seed or even almond.

Eliminate Common Skin Problems … Naturally!

11-old-oats-deNow that we have discussed what you can do for oily skin, it is now time to tap into people with dry skin.  Dry skin is something very, very difficult to deal with most of the time, as you can certainly itch enough to make it bleed.  There are a ton of different things that you can use on your dry skin, a lot of different moisturizers, but I think that oatmeal baths work the best.

Itchy and scaly dry skin is not only not attractive, but it hurts, especially if you have been itching it for quite a while, but if you fill your bath with oatmeal flakes and soak yourself, I can promise that your skin will feel a heck of a lot better and the itchiness will be gone.

If you do not want to get the flakes in your tub, just fill an old knee-high panty hose with some oatmeal, tie it off and drop it into the tub in order to infuse the water with it – it will definitely help you!
