Get Rid of Acne Naturally: Part 4!

acne2Now, let’s get back to some of these natural remedies and treatment methods.  There are a lot of them, and the nice thing about using natural methods is that you save money — and your skin.  A lot of the acne cleansers currently on the market are much too abrasive, especially if you have sensitive skin.  Using them can lead to redness, irritation — your skin can even be swollen.  Plus, a lot of these cleansers also tend to dry your skin out, so even if your blemishes disappear, you are left with dry and scaly skin.

There are, of course, a number of prescription medications designed to help acne sufferers as well.  The problem there, besides the fact that they can get really expensive, is that there are so many side effects!  A lot of times, the side effects seem worse than the initial problem.

So, a lot of people decide to go the way of, say, natural, homemade facial masks.  Masks made of honey, for instance, can be really helpful.  A lot of people don’t realize that honey actually has its own antibacterial properties, which can help cleanse the bacteria from your skin.

As we have previously mentioned, the foods you eat make a difference as well.  If you are not getting the right nutrients, try taking a multivitamin.  Make sure it contains chromium and zinc.
