Let’s Lower Your Cholesterol, Naturally! Part Two!

Last time, we started talking about how you can lower your cholesterol naturally.  Specifically, we talked about how the right kinds of foods can help you to be healthy.  A nutritious, healthy, and balanced diet is unquestionably important — but, you know, diet can only take you so far.  You can’t lose weight just by dieting, and you can’t lower your cholesterol just by dieting, either.  Oh, the foods you eat can do you a lot of good, sure — but you can take those levels down even more.

When you want to lower your cholesterol exponentially, then exercise is key. You don’t have to go all out, get a gym membership, and spend all your free time on the treadmill or anything like that though. All you really need to do is engage in some regular exercise. Cardiovascular exercises are best. So, you could do aerobics in your living room three times a week, you could take a bike ride around the park, you could even just make sure you walk around your neighborhood a few afternoons every week. When coupled with a healthy, well balanced diet, regular exercise will not only improve your overall health, it will make your cholesterol drop as well!
