When you use Echinacea, you can actually use the entire flower, so the leaves, flowers and even the steams and you can actually use them as soon as you start to feel bad. What this herb will do is help build up your immune system, so that way you will not get sick!
Take these tips and tricks to heart, they work. I know that I tried them when I was stick and I can tell you that I feel a heck of a lot better now!

While the two examples that I have explored here have been proven to work to treat a common cold, I can tell you for sure that honey is another treatment that works. Honey is actually fantastic if you have a cough or even if you have just a sore throat, as it coats it.
What this does is it makes sure that the tickle you feel in the back of your throat goes away, because it is hydrated and because it is coating the back of your throat. Research has actually proven this and I can tell you for sure that it works – a heck of a lot of time.
Dark colored honey works best, as it is high in antioxidants and it certainly is something that is worth the investment.

Now that we have touched on garlic, the next thing that we are going to explore is vitamin c. To be quite frank, when people tell you to drink a lot of orange juice when you are sick, it is the truth! You want to make sure that you are getting a heck of a lot of vitamin c in order to fight off that cold.
The reason for this is because vitamin c actually rises up your immune system, which makes sure that your body can fight off the infection that it is feeling when you have a cold.
For me – Simply Orange is the best way to go, as it is by far the best tasting and it is that … simply orange!

I have to tell you guys something – I hate getting sick. I am the person that people with weak immune systems hate because I never get sick. I have not been sick for at least three years and I can tell you for sure that it is awesome. However … when I get sick, it takes me a really long time to recover.
That is exactly what happened to me two weeks ago. I got extremely, extremely sick and I was even out of work for three days! It was terrible! It was then that I realized that I needed to find us some good, natural treatments for the common cold. That is what the new four blogs are going to be able – curing the common cold naturally.
One of the first treatments is garlic! Garlic has been known for quite a long time for the home cure for the common cold and it is honestly awesome! The cold-fighting compound in garlic is allicin and it really does work! More in the next blog!
